Audio Clips

For your enjoyment, here is a selection of audio clips from our repertoire.  Most of the songs are on our CDs.

The clips are in streaming Adobe format and will play over a modem connection.  Simply click on the player button and, after a short delay, the song will play.  If you have connected to this page from a link on our site, this page will have opened in a separate window, so you can navigate our site from the original page while listening to the songs in this window.

Note that the sound quality of these clips is reduced because of the file compression algorithm used on the internet.  The songs on the CDs are in full CD quality.

Swiss Dance. (Not on CD). We are proud of this unique piece that was written for ESMC by Swiss composer Kurt Müller. It crosses the boundaries between traditional folklore and New Music, and blends orchestral with choral elements.  It is currently the most controversial song in our repertoire. We love it because it challenges traditional Swiss music, and we love to hate it because it challenges our voices. And sometimes the other way around.
